PERSONAL
Dr. Barney grew up from Ogden to Cedar City. After abandoning early forays into barbering and fiddling, and after a church mission to Guayaquil, Ecuador, he graduated from Brigham Young University, the University of Utah School of Medicine, and the University of New Mexico OB/GYN residency program. Missing family and snow, he returned home to Utah to practice. At work, Dr. Barney enjoys teaching and talking with patients, and is willing to treat both Cougar and Ute fans. While at home, his passions include spending time outdoors, laughing with his family, reading Best Buy ads, and embarking on intimidating home repair projects. He is the husband of a cheerful wife, and the father of three creative, above-average children.
