Cancellation/No Show Policy for Appointments
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations with work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Vise versa, the situation may occur when another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit.
Consequently, any missed appointment that is not cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will result in a $25.00 fee (which is not billed to or covered by your insurance company).
Cancellation/No Show Policy for Surgery
Due to the large block of time needed for surgery, all cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled procedure. Failing to cancel or show up for your surgery will result in a $200.00 fee (which is not billed to or covered by your insurance company).
As a courtesy, we will be providing a one-time waiver for a no-show appointment or last minute cancellation.
Our practice firmly believes that a good physician/patient relationship is based upon understanding and good communication. Any questions about our cancellation and no-show fees should be directed to Penny, Old Farm OB/GYN’s Surgery Scheduler or the Billing Department.
